Introduction
This addendum is supplementary to our Privacy Policy, explaining the privacy rights of California residents when using our Services, as guaranteed by California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”), and other relevant privacy laws in California.
Please read this addendum in conjunction with our Privacy Policy.

Personal information sales and opt-out
California residents have the right to opt out of the “sharing” of their personal information with third parties for targeted advertising purposes. You can exercise this right at any time via our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, in accordance with the CCPA/CPRA.
THE GENUYN DOES NOT SELL your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Therefore, while we do not provide a “sale” opt-out, we do provide a “sharing” opt-out as required by applicable law.

Non-Discrimination
CCPA prohibits a business from discriminating against you exercising the rights of personal information under the law. The discrimination may include the following:
- Denying goods or services to you;
- Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of
discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
- Providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you, if you exercise the rights under the law; and/or
- Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services;
- Denying goods or services to you;

5. We DO NOT SELL your personal information. Certain Ads
Your personal information is sold when it is shared for monetary or other valuable consideration for a purpose that is not “business purposes” as defined in the CCPA.
THE GENUYN DOES NOT SELL your personal information for monetary or other valuable considerations. Like many companies, however, we use services that help deliver interest-based ads to you and may transfer Personal Information to business partners for their use. Making Personal Information (such as online identifiers or browsing activity) available to these companies may be considered a “Share” under the CCPA. California residents may opt out of sharing at any time via our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control, and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Disclosures to our service providers/contractors for business purposes under written agreements are not “sales” or “sharing.”

We will send you receipt of your request and explain how long we expect to take to respond to your request if we are able to verify your identity. Requests for specific pieces of personal information will take additional time for us to verify your identity.
For those submitting the request to exercise the rights on behalf of another person, we may request you to submit proof of authorization and identity verification.
We will respond to the requests within 45 days, and it can be extended by an additional 45 days in accordance with CCPA.
7. Update to this PP Addendum
We may change, modify, add, or remove a part of this Privacy Policy Addendum based on our Privacy Policy.
